Wie es aussieht hat Bliizard laut dem Bluepost hier:

aus dem Download Client sämtliche Cinematic Sequenzen entfernt um Traffic einzusparen.
Inwiefern sich das auch auf den Cataclysm Client der Preorder bezieht ist noch nicht ganz klar, da es wohl widersprüchliche Aussagen seitens Blizzard gab. In einem Bluepost lautet es würde alles "verspätet" per Download nachgereicht , andere sagen es gibt definitv keine Cinematics im Downloadclient. Inwiefern das so bleibt ist noch offen, da sich im Forum eine kleine "Entrüstungswelle" entwickelt und einige wohl auch schon ihre Preorder bei Blizzard wieder storniert haben.

Selber konnte ich mir das Video nach dem Lichkingkill neulich auch nicht anschauen , selbst in Dalaran nicht, kam immer nur die Meldung This Cinematic is not avaible. Nu weiss ich auch warum

We’d like to take a moment to clarify how we’ll be delivering World of Warcraft: Cataclysm cinematics to players who purchase the expansion digitally through Battle.net or download the installer from the web in the future.

Prior to the December 7 launch of Cataclysm, all current World of Warcraft players will receive the Cataclysm intro cinematic as part of an upcoming patch. In addition, all other in-game cinematics (including previous ones such as the Wrathgate movie) will be available for download to players who have not previously installed them. These cinematics will be automatically downloaded in the background while you play the game, after other critical game data has been received.
