Die erste Minute hat mich schon etwas nostalgisch werden lassen. Ich mag ja die Japanisch/Chinesische Kultur <18 Jahrhundert. Und Kung Fu Panda 1+2 auch. Aber Pandas in WoW? Passt nicht so recht ins Universum wie ich finde. Da hätte man "Lore" technisch was besseres finden können.

mhm, im vergleich zum cataclysm trailer hat mich dieser nun absolut garnicht berührt. schon wieder ein neues talentsystem? *sigh*
worgen und goblins waren ja schon immer in warcraft vertreten, aber bis auf den brewmaster in wc3tft kann ich mich net an son fellvieh erinnern^^ (hab die bücher halt auch net gelesen vllt wirds dort besser erklärt).
wer der neue villain ist steht auch noch nicht fest oder? und wer bekommt den panda? passt einfach in keine der beiden fraktionen find ich. der monk interessiert mich da scho eher, DK 2.0

Oberbösewicht wirds in der Expansion nicht geben, sie fokusiert sich auf den Krieg zwischen Horde und Allianz.
Beide Seiten werden Pandaren spielen können und sie haben auch das selbe Startgebiet (so wie beim DK).

Die Pandaren sind schon immer wieder mal kurz vorgekommen, aber eben wirklich nur kurz. Am längsten hast den Brewmaster gehabt wennst beim Towerspiel gewonnen hast. Sonst kamen sie in WC3 noch 1-2x auf einer Insel als Questgeber vor.

@ Panda: Mit lvl10 muss man sich zwischen Horde-Allianz entscheiden, ja.
Ich hab ja das Cataclysm Talentsystem von Anfang an verrissen - dass es am Ziel vorbeigeht. *fühl mich bestätigt*
Dafür gefallen mir die neuen Klassen/Talentsystems äußerst gut. Endlich hat man wirklich die Wahl zwischen bspw. 3 CC Skills oder zwischen 3 Movementskills oder zwischen 3 Defenseskills. Seeeehr cool. *freu mich*

Pets Will Battle à la Pokémon
In addition to the promise of TONS of new pets to collect, Blizzard has announced that companions will actually be able to LEVEL and FIGHT in the upcoming expansion. Players will even be able to customize their vanity pets with their own names, battle abilities, and items that will increase their pet's stats. All we can say is WOW!!!

Here are some highlights:

• The battle system will work with most existing pets
• There will be new wild pets to collect
• The UI will include a "Pet Journal" which will tell you about every pet you can collect and where/how to find them (we hope you'll still drop by your favorite wow pet site )
• Many pets will become tradable (we're not sure how this will work yet)
• Pets will become account-wide (Yes — this is HUGE NEWS!)
• Pets win battles to earn experience and new abilities
• Create combat builds for each of your pets
• Level multiple pets to build your own fighting pet teams (teams are comprised of 3 pets)
• There will be both PvE & PvP battles
• Combat will be simple and turn-based
• There will be a queuing system to set up pet battles anytime
• Your characters will be able to learn "Master Abilities" to improve the combat bonuses of their pets

Again... WOW! This is COLOSSAL news for all of us pet collectors. We'll have additional news and some screenshots following BlizzCon, so check back early next week.

der Pet Battle ist ja noch ein bisschen mehr wie Pokemon als ich befürchtet hab

What's more, you will also have a brand-new way to add more pets to your collection. In addition to purchasing pets or getting them as item drops, you can now also encounter and capture vanity pets in the wild. If you run into one of these rare pets, you can have your own pet challenge it; if you manage to defeat the wild pet, you will capture it and add it to your collection! Wild pets have stats that vary slightly, so you may end up catching an exceptionally powerful pet. Keep your eyes open!

Training your pets is important if you want them to succeed. You can seek out pet trainer NPCs who will teach your pets new tricks, but some of these trainers will challenge you to a duel; you will have to show them you're worthy if you want them to train your pets. There may be other NPCs as well who love nothing more than to see if their pets can best yours in battle.

Ich merk mir ja schon kaum die Abilitys meines Paladins und beim Hunter weiß ich nedmal mehr wie die Skills heißen, wie soll ich mir da bitte die Abilitys von 157 pets merken und dann auch noch das richtige Counterpet finden wenn ich einem "wilden" über den Weg laufe?

Ich werd so versagen und niemals in die Wasserliga kommen

Naja, bei Pokemon kann ja auch ned jedes von den mittlerweile 100.000 Viechern unterschiedliche Sachen, nehme an die werden auch nach Gruppen eingeteilt mit den gleichen Abilities und halt unterschiedlichen Stats, im Kampf selbst wirds eine Art Schere-Stein-Papier Prinzip sein. Zhampo freut die Änderung sicher, die kann sich dann (endlich) ihr eigenes wildes Cyan fangen, grundsätzlich in den All-you-can-eat-Restaurants Azeroths anzutreffen.

Macht nix Mario, in die Schnapsliga kommst sicher und die wirst auch unangefochten anführen.

PS: Ja, ich habe als Kind Pokemon gespielt und ich schäme mich nicht dafür!!!

wenn Zhampo nen Cyanball auf ein anderes Pet wirft ist der Kampf eh vorbei bevor er begonnen hat

Ich hab als Kind nur mit den Masters of the Universe gespielt, weil Pokemon gabs da noch nicht. Glaub die Fähigkeiten von He-Man, Aquaman, Ramman und Skelletor bekomm ich heut noch zusammen

me 2^^ und ich konnt sogar in einer sehr shclimmen phase alle 150 (ja damals waren es NUR 150) in der richtigne reihenfolge auswendig xD

iwie kann ihc mir dafür heute nichts mehr merken

und weil ichs grad seh.. in zwei monaten is weihnachten

Die werden dann sicher einbauen, dass ein Pala nur dann Eichhörnchen besiegt, wenn er die Bubble zündet. Freue mich schon drauf.
